Drilling & Exploration

AQM Copper initiated an aggressive 40,000m drill program in early 2010, consisting of infill, step-out and exploratory drilling to test the mineralization as defined by Teck from their 36 drill hole program. The program includes extensive geological mapping and sampling, geophysical surveying, and additional metallurgical studies.

Drilling to date has confirmed high grade copper mineralization in an enriched blanket defined over a 3,300 x up to 600m area with a thickness of between 50-150m. This east-west trending blanket averages approximately 0.7% Cu, and consists of chalcocite and minor covellite replacing chalcopyrite. The deposit remains open to the east, north, south, and at dept.
